The municipality of Bogovinje is an Albanian municipality located in the western part of North Macedonia, and is located in the Polog Region. The center of the municipality is located in Bogovinje village, under which the name of the municipality is also named.

Bogovinje Municipality is bordered to the north with the Municipality of Tetovo, in the east with the Municipality of Brvenica, in the south with the Municipality of Vrapchisht and in the west with the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the 2002 census, 28,997 people live in the municipality of Bogovinje, of whom 27,614 (95.2%) are Albanians, 1,183 Turks (4.1%), 37 (0.1%) Macedonians and 163 (0.6%) of other entities.
